The Paraguayan robotics team will represent the Republic of Paraguay at the FIRST Global Challenge, held in the historic city of Athens, Greece. The crew is filled with immense joy and pride in representing their country.
After months of effort, sacrifice, and dedication, the team is ready to give its best in this international competition, which will bring together 190 countries.
In a statement, the Paraguayan Robotics Team said they are deeply thankful to everyone who made this trip possible, especially their sponsors: the National Council of Science and Technology, Space Agency of Paraguay, Itaipu Binational, Ciral Paraguay, and the Intercontinental University of Technology.
They also made a point of saying they are “grateful to their partners for supporting and sponsoring youth, technology, and the power of teamwork. Their support is invaluable and drives them to go further and overcome new challenges”.
Paraguayan robotics teams have a history of success at international competitions, with one team of students from Ciudad del Este winning a medal at the First Lego Challenge in Houston, USA back in April 2024.
We wish the Paraguayan Robotics Team success in Athens!
