The government through Petróleos Paraguayos (Petropar) announced the reduction of the Petropar diesel price in its two variants. The new costs apply from tomorrow, Friday 3rd October.
This is a decrease of 250 Guaraníes that will govern from today in the service stations managed by Petropar, while the value of the naphtas remains unchanged.
In a statement, President Santiago Peña said: “Because taking care of the Paraguayans’ pocket is our commitment, we turn down the prices of diesel from today. We put state companies at the service of the citizen, as it should be.”
Petropar, the state oil company, said on its official X account: “We lower prices again. Because we are committed to your economy, committed to you.”
Diesel Por will now cost 7,190 guaraníes a litre, while the Mbarete Diesel will now be 8,990 guaraníes per litre.
