According to Ministry of Industry and Commerce data, Paraguayan product exports reached nine new markets as export destinations in September, building on the increase in new markets for Paraguay exports reported earlier this year.
Some of these markets were reached for the first time, while others received products not previously exported to those countries. Notable new markets include frozen meat exports to Bosnia-Herzegovina and peanuts to Bulgaria. Additionally, Paraguay exported cotton to Thailand in September, amounting to nearly $300 million.
Significant amounts were also represented by aluminum and copper scrap exports to Singapore and Vietnam, with values exceeding $180,000 for each destination.
In the South American region, September exports included synthetic fiber rugs to Argentina, aluminum caps to Peru, steel billets to Brazil, and pillows to the Ecuadorian market.
With these new export destinations for goods, Paraguay strengthens its position as a key player in exporting agricultural, industrial, and consumer products under the government’s vision of sustainable economic growth.
