A journey through Paraguay’s identity
This year’s exhibition focuses on figurative art, inviting visitors to explore the nation’s cultural memory through art created in oil using painting techniques such as acrylic and woodcut. The exhibition encourages different artistic voices to interpret what Paraguay represents today.
Furthermore, the curatorial concept gives structure to this Asunción exhibition, guiding visitors through three thematic sections that explore different aspects of national life. The collection focuses on traditional characters and customs, landscapes and architecture, alongside the country’s native flora and fauna. Together, these themes create a visual journey, connecting these artists’ memories with Paraguay’s cultural heritage and celebrating the diversity that continues shaping the country today.

More than 20 artists share their vision
The exhibition features works by established and emerging artists, showcasing a wide range of creative experiences and artistic styles. Their collective participation creates a diverse exhibition that shows different artistic perspectives. At the same time, maintaining a shared focus on Paraguay’s identity and culture. Moreover, the exhibition brings together artists from different regions and professional backgrounds, creating a combination of established names and newer voices. This variety allows visitors to experience multiple interpretations of the paintings. As demonstrating how artistic expression evolves but can continue to remain connected to its original traditions or landscapes.
