The Paraguay-Korea High-Level Technological Center (CTA) celebrated its tenth anniversary, highlighting a decade of significant contributions to innovation and technical training. The Paraguay-Korea Tech Centre milestone underscores the strengthening of cooperative ties between South Korea and Paraguay, fostering advancements in technology and professional development.
The celebration featured Expo Feria 2025, an event showcasing innovative projects by CTA graduates and participants. Visitors engaged in networking opportunities, explored job creation initiatives, and attended technology talks delivered by national and international experts. Since its establishment in 2015, the CTA has trained nearly 15,000 individuals in critical Industry 4.0 fields, such as information and communications technology (ICT), robotics, mechatronics, artificial intelligence, and fashion design. This extensive training programme has equipped Paraguayans with skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The Expo Feria 2025 inauguration saw the presence of key figures, including Hyeyoung Shin, country director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and José Nicolás Cogliolo, general director of Paraguay’s National Professional Promotion Service (SNPP).
