Paraguay’s First Lady Highlights The Interpretation Center of the Great American Chaco

As part of celebrations for Indigenous Women’s Day, Paraguay’s first lady, Leticia Ocampos, visited the Interpretation Center of the Great American Chaco, located in the city of Philadelphia, department of Boquerón, drawing attention to the center that allows us to know all about what the Western Region of Paraguay offers.

The first lady was received by the Minister of the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur), Angie Duarte, who led the tour together with other authorities.

The Interpretation Center of the Great American Chaco has a Museum Center that has a thematic script that is developed by a trained guide to show the contents using the technological resources available to the museum.

The place also has a theater for 84 spectators equipped with 4k projectors and motorized screen, souvenir and crafts, an administrative, research area and a library with internet and air conditioning.

Outside the Centro Museológico you can enjoy beautiful landscapes, with trails that show all the surrounding vegetation.

After the tour was over, the first lady highlighted the imposing technological infrastructure of the place and invited everyone to visit. More places like this need to be promoted, Ocampos said.

The Minister of Tourism thanked her for the official visit and the extra visibility that the Center will gain after this activity.
