Press Release – Asunción, Paraguay, April 21, 2025, – Grease: El Tributo arrives with two unmissable performances and a renewed cast to revive the magic of rock & roll at the Teatro García Lorca de la Manzana de la Rivera.
Abra Estudio presents a new staging that promises to captivate all generations, bringing you closer to your favourite artists with a spectacular immersive show. Grease: El Tributo is a vibrant homage to the iconic musical of the ’70s that will transport the audience to the golden era of rock & roll, leather jackets, and teenage love.
The show, directed by Alicia Braga with assistant direction by Marco Jara, features production by Nazarena Zena, vocal coaching by Fernando Noguera, and choreography by Nazarena Zena and Giovanni André.
Grease: El Tributo follows a successful premiere at a full house at the Teatro Municipal Ignacio A. Pane, marking a milestone in Paraguayan cultural scene and establishing itself as a theatrical phenomenon in our country.
The Grease stellar cast includes: Camilo Sánchez, Angie Parodi, Jay Miranda, Nati Escoz, Luis Estigarribia, Gia Cantero, Giovanni André, Johana Orihuela, Jesús Céspedes, Nicole Ocampos, Belén Rojas, Rita Ruiz Díaz, Ro Prieto, Ceci Morales, Luis Núñez, and Rolo Samaniego, who will bring to life the unforgettable characters of this timeless story.
The two unmissable performances of Grease: El Tributo will take place on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 9 PM and 8 PM respectively, at the Teatro García Lorca de la Manzana de la Rivera located at Ayolas 129, in Asunción.
Grease Synopsis
Grease’s story revolves around Sandy and Danny. They experience an unforgettable summer romance, but upon reuniting at school, they discover that fitting into different worlds will not be so simple. Among the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies, they will face challenges, emotions, and the magic of a story that continues to win hearts across generations. An electrifying show that will make you vibrate with the energy of rock & roll and the nostalgia of teenage love.
