The Benjamin Franklin Science Corner (BFSC) has announced a free English language holiday camp for teenagers aged between 14 and 18. The initiative will provide an opportunity for young people to strengthen their language skills through creative and interactive activities during Paraguay’s winter school holidays, which will take place from 13 to 24 July 2026.
The English language camp will run from Monday, 13 to Friday, 17 July 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00. Activities will be held at Ben’s Maker Lab, located at Universidad Comunera (UCOM) in Asunción. Participation is free of charge, although places are limited.
Two English levels available
The holiday camp will include two groups based on participants’ previous knowledge of English: basic and intermediate levels. This structure aims to ensure that each student can participate according to their current abilities while continuing to improve their communication skills.
During the five-day programme, teenagers will take part in activities designed to make language learning engaging and practical. These will include interactive games, conversation exercises, creative activities, and opportunities to connect with other participants. The BFSC explains that the initiative seeks to create a welcoming environment where young people can practise English while developing creativity, teamwork, and confidence.
Free educational opportunities
The English language holiday camp forms part of the Benjamin Franklin Science Corner’s efforts to provide free educational opportunities and bring new learning resources closer to young Paraguayans. Through initiatives combining education and creativity, the organisation aims to encourage young people to continue developing skills beyond the traditional classroom environment.
