Asunción will host an international conference organised by the Patriots Network on Friday 17 April 2026. Earlier in 2025, the Brussels Conference at the Flemish Parliament featured the participation of the President of the Paraguayan Parliament, Raúl Latorre, highlighting growing links with Paraguay. In February 2026, the Sofia Conference was held in Bulgaria, bringing together over 15 European countries to discuss the future of the European Union.
