Paraguay’s National Secretariat of Culture has officially opened a nationwide call for cultural projects for 2026. The initiative invites artists, collectives, organisations, educational institutions, and citizens interested in developing cultural activities throughout the year. Therefore, the programme aims to strengthen public access to diverse creative experiences and encourage greater participation in cultural life.
The call will remain open until 28 February 2026. Meanwhile, applicants can consult all specific conditions, application forms, and detailed information about each venue on the official Cultura website. Submissions must be completed exclusively through the authorised digital channels, ensuring a transparent and standardised selection process.
Moreover, the selected proposals will become part of the country’s official cultural programme. This integration provides increased visibility for creative projects and reinforces the role of public institutions in supporting cultural development.
Cultural venues available
Successful proposals may be developed in three recognised cultural spaces in Asunción. These include the Centro Cultural del Puerto, the Espacio Cultural Staudt, and the Ycuá Bolaños Memory Site. Each venue operates under specific technical guidelines and scheduling conditions.
Therefore, applicants are encouraged to carefully review the characteristics and availability of each space before submitting proposals. In addition, the online platform provides detailed information about infrastructure, capacity, and permitted activities. This approach allows organisers to design realistic and sustainable projects.
