Asunción to host the 2024 Copa Sudamericana final

President of Conmebol Football, Alejandro Domínguez, has enthusiastically announced that our vibrant city of Asunción will be the epicenter of football excitement as it hosts the eagerly awaited Copa Sudamericana Final.

“The Great Conquest 2024 will have its epic conclusion in Paraguay,” declared Domínguez on his official account on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter.

The event, scheduled for November 23 of this year, is still awaiting confirmation of the official venue. However, all signs point to the General Pablo Rojas Stadium, home of Club Cerro Porteño, being the main stage for this thrilling showdown.

This will be the second time Asunción has had the honor of hosting the Sudamericana final, proudly recalling the match between Argentina’s Colón and Ecuador’s Independiente del Valle on November 9, 2019.

Furthermore, Domínguez has revealed that the 2025 edition of the tournament will be held in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

“Bolivia will host #TheGreatConquest in a milestone year, marking the country’s Bicentennial and the Centenary of the Bolivian Football Federation,” communicated the head of the South American Football Confederation.

The excitement of South American football converges in Asunción to close the Sudamericana 2024 with a golden flourish!
