The Senatur Tourism Experience Center, located in the historic “Casa Buttner” in San Bernardino, will open its doors to art and music every Saturday and Sunday in January and February 2025, as part of its mission to assist visitors discover tourist experiences in San Bernardino.
The official opening took place this Saturday, December 28, with a performance by maestro Miguel Ramírez on the Paraguayan harp.
In addition to the musical performances, the Casona will offer a series of activities for all tastes. During the months of January and February, visitors will be able to enjoy a craft fair with the best products from the IPA, from artisans from the Cordillera department, and a book fair with contemporary national writers.
La Casona Buttner will be open with artistic and musical shows starting at 8pm.
Starting January 11, every Saturday until February 1, there will be a San Bernardino Bike Tour, guided by Lili Müller, to discover the natural and cultural beauty of the area.
Calendar of activities in San Bernardino
In addition to Miguel Ramírez, with his proposal “Arpa sin Fronteras”, there will be outstanding musicians such as Steven Woo, violinist, saxophonist and music producer, and Kike Pedersen, young Paraguayan harpist.
Every Saturday and Sunday, visitors can enjoy:
- From 10am to 11:30am, storytelling and workshops for children, led by children’s and young adult writers.
- From 2pm to 5pm, “Living Literature”, with exhibitions and parades of creations inspired by books by national authors, organised by the Chamber of Innovation and Design PRODI.
- From 3pm to 6pm, fantasy and horror evenings, with discussions organised by the literary guild CIFFATE on science fiction and fantasy in Paraguay.
- From 6pm to 8pm, meetings with national writers at the “Sunset Reading”, an opportunity to meet the authors throughout the summer.
- From 8pm to 10pm, literary gatherings, with readings of poems and stories led by national writers and the participation of local singer-songwriters.
