Cabezones, the renowned band from Santa Fe, returned triumphantly to the Paraguayan stage after a six-year hiatus last September. Edu Schmidt
Edu Schmidt, a former member of the influential Argentine rock band Árbol, joins the lineup at the Arlandria concert. Schmidt has carved out a successful solo career over the last decade, releasing four albums and delighting audiences with classics from Árbol like El Fantasma, Pequeños Sueños, and recent singles such as Superman and Boicot. Emerging National Bands Joining Arlandria
The celebration does not stop there. Emerging national rock bands Ciudad Mansa, Vartan, and Los Ladrillos will be present. They will also share the stage during the Arlandria concert. Ciudad Mansa, formed during the pandemic, gained recognition with their debut album, Se Hizo de Noche, in 2022.
The national band Vartan draws influences from pop punk and alternative rock. Since 2019, they have performed on their tours and also as guests. They are beginning to compose music in search of their unique identity. In 2024, Vartan released their debut album, Viraje, which fuses melodic elements with heavier sounds, addressing sentimental, motivational, and social themes. Notable singles from the album include Como Olvidar, Imparable, Rechazo, and Volver a Empezar.
Los Ladrillos was formed in 2018, inspired by the energetic sound of funk and the authenticity of blues. It got influences from North American artists like B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Daft Punk, and Arctic Monkeys. Their first EP, Nubes Grises, features four songs that aim to blend vintage sounds with current emotions. Llamada Nocturna is also their first music video, a rock-pop track exploring the uncertainties of love. Their latest release, Sin Vos, also comes with a fun music video.
