Merari Ledesma is the CEO of Atria. It is an agency of marketing that manages and accompanies various local brands. They take care of their communication, strategy, content, and everything that involves brand presence.
Since she was little, Merari Ledesma was very influenced by her parents’ insistence that she study, train, learn, and take advantage of every opportunity. She said: “They always saw something in me that sometimes I did not even see: perseverance, curiosity, and determination.” Studying engineering in marketing was a way to combine all that with something that genuinely interested her: understanding how the consumer’s mind works and how brands are built. That is how Merari started getting into the world of marketing, first as a student, then as a freelancer, and today as CEO of Atria.
Merari Ledesma: When Marketing Is Passion
One of the first things I asked her was about her interest in marketing. Why you are so passionate about this? She said: “I love to see how a brand can transform when its communication aligns with its real identity. I am interested in the process of shaping that. The backstage strategies, but also the creative, visual, and emotional part. I am interested in building value with purpose. I have always liked to understand how people think, how they make decisions, and what makes them connect with a brand.” Atria – Merari’s company – was born with a clear vision: to be a trusted strategic partner for brands. She now considers having achieved that goal. Since the beginning of the company, Merari has worked with multiple companies in the gastronomic, fashion, health, and consumer product sector. They have also managed personal accounts and growing ventures, always adapting to the style and objectives of each one.
The Place Of Women
Merari Ledesma is a member of the Women Winners Club, like athlete Sasha Sborovsky and Melissa Parodi who organised the Women’s Compliance Summit. Women Winners Club is the premier social club for businesswomen here in Paraguay, managed by Lorena Martínez.
In this context, I had to ask what is the place of women in this sector in Paraguay. She was telling me that it is growing. “Today there are many women leading agencies, marketing teams, personal brands, and large projects. But there are still challenges. The sector is still competitive and sometimes very closed off. Being a woman and also young means having to prove oneself doubly. But we are paving the way.” Yes, the future seems bright for women in marketing like in other markets. Merari put emphasis on the word “powerful.” She added that “Women are leading from empathy, creativity, emotional intelligence, and strategy. What was once seen as ‘soft’ is now key. The future lies in how we communicate, and in that, Paraguayan women are very well prepared.”

Marketing: A Highly Competitive Field
Marketing is one of the toughest fields in general, but Atria has made its place in the market. Merari is very firm in her comment: “At Atria, we do not work for volume. We work to create an impact.” They put the focus on the quality rather than the quantity of clients. They chose their clients well so it can align with their objectives. Creativity is the key, as they want a symbiotic formula with what their clients are asking.
Their office is located in the Centro on Avenida Colón, between Estrella and Oliva. While it is being added to Google Maps, for reference, it is close to Espacio E. From there Merari Ledesma and her team think, create, and execute ideas every day. They work very closely with their clients, always prioritising results.
