Attractions of Jujuy, Argentina
The province’s attractions are described as “countless”. One of the most visited destinations is the Quebrada de Humahuaca, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the Jujuy Puna are the famous Salinas Grandes, which make up a wonderful landscape, whose origin dates back millions of years, when it was covered with large quantities of salt due to volcanic activity.
Another of the many sites is the one called Abdón Castro Tolay, in homage to a rural teacher. It is a place full of ancient history, where at 3,580 meters above sea level, gigantic natural walls rise that guard the archaeological heritage of the region.
