When it comes to food, Kilkenny gets very high marks across all social media and gastronomy review platforms. They are famous for their mouth-watering picadas. With savory and tender selections of beef, pork and sausages piled sky-high and astronomical portions of French fries and the local favorite boiled or fried mandioca. The bacon wrapped chicken is the first thing you should try if you are hungry. Make sure you ask for the garlic mayonnaise. The menu at Kilkenny is diverse and sure to leave you with a full stomach.
What would a great Irish bar be without a reasonably priced and diverse selection of imported beers from almost every continent? Not only do they have an awesome selection of beers, but Kilkenny also has a full bar and drink specials every night. Live music is what puts Kilkenny on the map and that is what keeps it on the map. At midnight everything changes at Kilkenny, and it goes one of two ways: The place becomes an intimate concert hall or a disco. Insiders tell us that just like Cinderella’s ball, at midnight SPOILER ALERT: THE KITCHEN CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT where the day begins and you can smoke inside and try to guess what popular regional act will pop up on stage. In the absence of mike stands and amplifiers on the stage, it’s a sure bet that a DJ will be mixing reggaeton to which the ladies dance ALL NIGHT LONG. Full disclosure: the all-night parties usually occur right at the beginning of the month and Holidays, but you never know.
Kilkenny invites you to teleport yourself right over to The Emerald Isles and rewards you for doing so with tasty bar food, live music, dancing and a one-of-a-kind late-night atmosphere. They dance the jig every night starting at 6pm. The busiest time will be around midnight when the smokers fire up and everybody is placing bets on live music or reggaeton.
