Music Festival Ignition To Showcase Ten Emerging Artists At Paraguay’s World Skate Games

Festival Ignition will bring ten emerging Paraguayan music acts to the Paraguayan Olympic Committee on Saturday, 17 October 2026. The free event will begin at 10:00 and continue until early Sunday morning in Luque. Organised by the National Secretariat of Culture and the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, the festival forms part of the official World Skate Games Asunción 2026 programme.

Daytime and night-time line-up

The festival will divide its programme into two performance blocks, giving audiences a full day of live music. During the daytime session, starting at 10:00, Sari Carri, Novique MC, Enas, MOBB and A Días de Júpiter will take the stage. Later, the evening programme will begin at 20:00, featuring five additional acts.

The night-time line-up will include Passiflorx, El Ojo de Orión, Becasina, Aliados Reggae and Esa Onda. Together, these ten musical projects represent the emerging talent selected through a call organised by the National Secretariat of Culture. Moreover, the festival will offer visitors an opportunity to discover local artists while attending one of Paraguay’s major international sporting events.

A platform for Paraguay’s music scene

Festival Ignition aims to give independent musicians greater visibility and help them reach new audiences. The initiative focuses on emerging soloists and groups performing original material. Consequently, the artists will have an opportunity to introduce their work to Paraguayan spectators and international visitors attending the World Skate Games.

The collaboration between cultural and sporting institutions also connects Paraguay’s creative scene with an international audience. By incorporating live music into the Games’ official programme, organisers are creating space for local talent alongside urban sports. For attendees, the event offers another way to experience Paraguay’s contemporary cultural scene beyond the competitions.
