Asunción will host Paraguay Tech Week 2026 from 3 to 7 August 2026, bringing together startups, investors, companies, and technology leaders from Paraguay and abroad. The event will feature conferences, business meetings, hackathons, and networking activities aimed at promoting innovation and strengthening the country’s role as a regional technology hub.
Organised by LAN Accelerator, the third edition of Paraguay Tech Week (PYTW) will connect Paraguay’s technology ecosystem with international entrepreneurs, investors, and companies through a decentralised programme across different venues in the capital. Following its first edition, which attracted more than 3,000 participants, 90 startups, and representatives from 18 countries, organisers are preparing a larger programme for 2026. The previous edition also brought together 93 corporate organisations and 13 Latin American investment funds managing more than US$1.2 billion in assets.
A platform for innovation
Paraguay Tech Week 2026 aims to showcase the development of the country’s technology ecosystem while creating opportunities for collaboration and investment. According to organisers, the event will highlight local projects and connect entrepreneurs with regional and international partners.
“The goal of Paraguay Tech Week is to show the world not only what our country already offers, but also its potential. We want to showcase what is being built within our ecosystem, generate new business opportunities, and connect entrepreneurs, companies, investors, and technology leaders to drive growth,” says Isaac Gutiérrez, President of the Paraguayan Venture Capital Association (PARCAPY).
Five-day programme
The week will begin on Monday, 3 August, with the CAPACE Executive Talks: “Decisions That Transform”, organised by the Paraguayan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CAPACE). The meeting will bring together around 70 C-level executives, government representatives, international guests, and business leaders to discuss artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and innovation applied to business. The event will take place at La Misión Hotel Boutique from 09:00, with free admission and limited capacity.
On Tuesday, 4 August, the VC & Startups Summit, organised by PARCAPY, will connect investment funds, family offices, corporations, and entrepreneurs. Discussions will focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, energy, data centres, corporate venturing, agribusiness, and alternative investments. The summit will begin at 14:00 at La Misión Hotel Boutique and will be accessible through exclusive invitations.
The central event of the week, Paraguay Tech Fest, will take place on Wednesday, 5 August, at Club Touch!. The festival will include keynote conferences, workshops, and networking sessions designed to connect startups with investors, companies, and public sector representatives. The event will begin at 09:00, with free admission and limited capacity.
On Thursday, 6 August, the Ibero-American Fintech Summit will bring together regional specialists from the financial and technology sectors. Organised by the Paraguayan Fintech Chamber, the event will feature conferences and a specialised exhibition focused on financial innovation. The summit will take place from 08:00 at the Paseo La Galería Events Centre.
The week will conclude on Friday, 7 August, with the Paraguay Blockchain Summit. The event will focus on blockchain technology, digital assets, and emerging technologies, bringing together professionals interested in the future of digital innovation. The summit will be held at the Universidad Autónoma de Asunción (UAA).
Connecting Paraguay’s technology ecosystem
Beyond the main programme, Paraguay Tech Week will include additional activities organised by technology communities and industry organisations. These initiatives include CISOFT’s Digital Match Making, a B2B meeting space for technology companies, and the W Meetup, which focuses on women in technology alongside communities such as Girls Code and Kuña Tech.
The programme will also feature activities promoted by Latam Angels through the Paraguayan Angel Investment Network, developer community meetings, and other side events that will expand the official agenda. Through this format, organisers aim to create spaces where entrepreneurs, investors, and technology professionals can exchange ideas, establish partnerships, and explore new opportunities.
As Paraguay’s technology sector continues to grow, the event seeks to strengthen the country’s position within Latin America’s innovation landscape.
