Paraguayan Swimmer Sets New Record in the United States

Paraguayan swimmer Matheo Mateos has been delivering an outstanding performance at the Summit League 2024 Swimming and Diving Championship in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The collegiate event is part of the current season’s swimming and diving conference championships and is a part of the competitive NCAA Division I league.

In the 200 individual medley, Denver claimed the top spot when Paraguayan swimmer Matheo Mateos Montelos (Studying Business Administration at Lindenwood University) not only broke a championship record but also set a league record with a time of 1:45.58.

Joining him on the podium were Marco Nosack from Denver (1:45.81) and Patryk Winiatowski from Lindenwood (1:47.96).
