Gymnastics Championships helps bring tourists to Paraguay

Due to the relevance of this sporting event, the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur) declared both championships of National Tourist Interest, arguing that this rhythmic gymnastics event allows the country to position itself as a benchmark in the international sports field, promoting specialised tourism.
“It attracts athletes, coaches and fans from various parts of the world, generating a high demand for tourist services such as accommodation, transportation and gastronomy. It also enhances the image of the town by linking it with high-performance sports, favoring the development of sports infrastructure as well as strengthening tourism and contributing to economic growth by attracting visitors and visibility in international media,” said a spokesperson for Senatur.
“The overall objective of the event is to promote development, excellence, and competitiveness in rhythmic gymnastics at the Pan American level, providing a high-performance space where gymnasts from different countries can demonstrate their talent, strengthen sporting ties, and promote the values of discipline and respect in a highly competitive environment,” she says.
