The Ciudad Mujer – Ñande Kerayvoty Renda Center celebrates seven years since its creation this weekend. It is the place in Asunción with the largest amount of public services aimed at women available, all in one place.
At the center, users have access to specialised and coordinated services for the economic, educational, social and political empowerment of women, in favor of comprehensive health and a life free from all forms of violence.
Seven years after the opening of “Ciudad Mujer”, the Registration and Monitoring Information System reports a total of 83,092 unique users with 427,697 visits from February 27, 2018 to February 27, 2025.
Services are in operation in all modules, such as reception and initial care, economic empowerment, prevention and care of violence against women, sexual and reproductive health and child care.
The Centro Ciudad Mujer is located in Villa Elisa on Virgen del Carmen between 16 de Julio and Avda. Von Poleski. The sexual and reproductive health module is open from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; and on Wednesdays and Fridays, it is open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
