The National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) invites professionals to apply for scholarships for master’s and doctoral programs under the exclusive dedication modality. These grants are part of the PROCIENCIA II program, financed by the Fund for Excellence in Education and Research (FEEI), and seek to support the training of researchers in strategic areas for the development of the country.
Applicants must be Paraguayan or foreigners with legal residence in Paraguay, have a letter of admission issued by a selected higher education institution and commit to dedicating a minimum of 35 hours per week to the program.
Master’s degree options include:
- Master’s Degree in Sustainable Agriculture at the Universidad Nacional del Este (UNE), with application deadline on December 20, 2024.
- Master’s Degree in Chemical Biological Sciences at the National University of Asunción (UNA), with application deadline on February 28, 2025.
- Master’s Degree in Autoimmune Diseases at the National University of Asunción (UNA), with application deadline on December 28, 2024.
- Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the National University of Asunción (UNA), with application deadline on December 20, 2024.
In the doctoral category, the following are offered:
- PhD in Biomolecular Sciences from the National University of Asunción (UNA), with application deadline on March 7, 2025.
- PhD in Computer Science from the National University of Asunción (UNA), with application deadline on June 2, 2025.
- PhD in Health Sciences from the Universidad Nacional del Este (UNE), with application deadline on December 20, 2024.
Applications must be submitted through the Application System for Instruments (SPI). Interested parties can begin uploading data simultaneously with the admission process for the corresponding postgraduate course.
