Women Who Do

Women Who Do: Women From All Over Paraguay To Join Expo In Asunción

On February 24 and 25, the Ministry of Women will host the Expo Forum “Women Who Do”, which this year is the second edition, within the framework of the commemoration of Paraguayan Women’s Day. The event will be open to the public, from 9am to 5pm, at the National Sports Secretariat (SND) in Asunción.

The event aims to promote the construction of a more equitable Paraguay, by fostering the economic, political and social empowerment of women, as well as the prevention of violence against women. By highlighting the achievements of women across the country, the organisers hope to inspire other women, old and young, to forge their own path to success and financial independence.

The “Women Who Do” Expo Forum will make visible the work that women do and their achievements in Paraguay, as well as create spaces for dialogue and reflection on topics relevant to female growth. This initiative empowers women to develop their potential and participate fully in society, honoring their talent in all areas.

This edition will offer the opportunity to women fairgoers from different parts of the country to exhibit their products, services and creations in a showcase that aims to empower the hands of women who support their families.

There will also be events focused on economic empowerment and the prevention of violence against women. In addition, there will be different activities such as artistic shows, art and photography presentations, awards ceremonies, a parade and other activities. The event will have a brilliant international closing, with which these two days are intended to honor and visualise female talent.

It is aimed at audiences of all ages, professions, regions and socioeconomic backgrounds. It is a relevant event for all people who are committed to building an equitable future. We hope you will be part of the hundreds of participants who will be able to see the best production of the women of Paraguay, here in Asunción later this month!
