Paraguay will host the 2024 South American Artistic Gymnastics Championship, including the FIG South American Age Group and Junior Artistic Gymnastics Championship. The official announcement, including further details of this important competition, is planned for this Friday, November 15, at 12noon, via a press conference in the Auditorium of the National Sports Secretariat (SND).
The South American GAM and GAF Junior and FIG Age Group Programme (AGP) will take place in Asunción, from November 25 to 30, at the Gymnastics Pavilion of the Paraguayan Gymnastics Federation (FPG).
A government spokesperson said: “Paraguay is once again preparing to live a unique experience with the greatest sporting event of Artistic Gymnastics on our continent.”
Parkour in Paraguay
At the Paraguayan Gymnastics Federation Pavilion, an open Parkour class is planned, with teacher Elian Rabery, for ages 15 and up.
The class is scheduled for this Saturday, November 16, starting at 3:00 p.m., with the instruction to come, try, enjoy and share with friends.
The FPG invites mainly young people to participate in this new urban modality of gymnastics and future Olympic sport.
