The National Service for Professional Promotion (SNPP) has launched a series of free gastronomy courses in various locations in the Central department of Paraguay and in the interior of the country, with the aim of training those interested in the area of hospitality and cooking. These courses, which begin on various August dates, are designed to improve culinary skills and promote employment in the gastronomic sector.
The courses include a variety of specializations and are available in different regions, ensuring a wide scope for all concerned. Among the outstanding offers are:
- Preparation of pizzas, cakes and empanadas: In Capiatá, Central department.
- Preparation of stuffed and decorated cakes: In Borja, Guairá department; in J. Augusto Saldívar, Central; and in Concepción.
- Preparation of sweet and savory snacks: In New Italy, Central; Natalicio Talavera, Guairá; and Mboacayaty, Guairá.
- Bakery for events: In Ciudad del Este, Alto Paraná.
- Reposter shop: In Ciudad del Este, Alto Paraná.
- Cooking assistant: In Villarrica, Guairá.
- Ballroom waiter: In New Italy, Central.
- Healthy cooking: In Clean, Central.
- Bakery and confectionery: In Maciel, Caazapá.
- Cook assistant: In Ita, Central.
The courses are completely free and open to anyone interested in improving their skills in the field of gastronomy. Registrations are open and can be done online through the SNPP website or at the corresponding regional headquarters.
With this initiative, the SNPP seeks not only to promote professional development in the gastronomic sector, but also boost regional economic growth by training workers and entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry.
