The Paraguayan National Audiovisual Institute (INAP) invites researchers, academics, students and professionals from the audiovisual sector to participate in the 1st Edition of the National Award for Cinematographic and Audiovisual Research 2025.
This award aims to promote studies that delve into the history, aesthetic expressions, cultural, social and industrial impact, and trends in Paraguayan cinema and audiovisuals, and other topics that promote the development of new approaches and the strengthening of the national audiovisual memory.
Independent researchers, academics, students, professionals and anyone who has developed research work related to Paraguayan cinema and/or audiovisuals are invited to participate.
Applications are open until 5 May 2025 at 07:59. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 5 July, following the jury’s deliberation.
Applications are available on the INAP website, where the form, terms and conditions and sample notes to be submitted can be found: application addressed to the director of INAP, copyright registration, personal data of the applicant, description of the research project and the complete work, along with sworn declarations of integrity.
All files must be submitted in PDF format.
The winner of the award will receive a cash prize of Gs10,000,000 and a commemorative plaque. In addition, the jury may award up to three additional recognitions for research work, according to the quality and impact of the work presented.
