The Republic of China (Taiwan) government has announced that two Paraguayan meat processing plants have been approved to export pork and beef, respectively, as of February 18, 2025.
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency (APHIA) granted the two Paraguayan meat processing plants official approval to export pork and beef to the Republic of China (Taiwan), according to a statement from the National Service for Animal Health and Quality (Senacsa).
The meat processing plant “Pirayú” has been authorised for pork exports, while the “Victoria” meat processing plant has been approved for beef exports.
This official decision was made following the completion of APHIA’s thorough inspection and evaluation process and has been in effect since February 18, 2025, as stated in Senacsa’s announcement.
