Today, Hilton announced the opening of the Palmaroga Hotel Asunción, which will sit in Hilton’s brand portfolio as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. It is the company’s first hotel in Paraguay, and the tenth addition to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the Caribbean and Latin America.
With plans to double its footprint, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will welcome 10 more hotels in the region over the next four years and is poised to offer guests authentic experiences in destinations worth exploring.
As part of its growth strategy over the past decade in the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton continues to expand its reach in the region, adding new countries and territories and launching new brands. In late 2024, Hilton will also welcome Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, marking Hilton’s first hotel on the Caribbean Island.

Housed in a historic building dating back to 1901 that originally served as the headquarters of the Superior Court of Justice, the conversion of Palmaroga Hotel Asunción to Tapestry Collection by Hilton exemplifies the essence of the Collection brand, which preserves the personalised and authentic identity of each hotel, combining it with Hilton’s renowned hospitality and additional guest benefits.
The hotel’s recent renovation maintained its neoclassical architecture, blended with inspiration from Spanish modernism, and has remained true to its cultural heritage while incorporating modern amenities to enhance the guest experience. The hotel offers 107 comfortable guest rooms, including spacious two-story suites and a large presidential suite, with two bedrooms and a balcony. Guests can also enjoy an interior courtyard, fitness center, and rooftop pool.
