According to the MEF, the internship programme will last twelve months. It requires a daily workload of five hours from Monday to Friday. The internship programme has an academic focus and aims to complement university training through direct exposure to public administration.
Key dates in the selection process
The ministry will publish the list of applicants eligible for the entrance assessments on 11 June. Shortlisted candidates will then take a face-to-face examination on 16 June in the city of Lambaré. The internship programme forms part of the ministry’s efforts to bring students closer to public administration. It also strengthens the training of future professionals interested in economics, finance, and state management.
Many university students use the internship programme as a key pathway to gain work experience before graduation. The programme helps students develop professional skills. It also helps them expand their networks and understand how public institutions operate.
