The Paraguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) has officially opened registration for language courses in English, Korean, and Mandarin. The courses, which will be held at the Diplomatic and Consular Academy “Carlos Antonio López,” the Ministry’s own educational institution, are set to begin in March 2026. This initiative is part of the MFA’s ongoing commitment to promoting multilingual education and fostering cultural exchange among Paraguayans.
Course start dates and levels
The English and Korean courses will start on Tuesday, 3 March. While the Mandarin course is scheduled to start on Monday, 9 March. Students can choose from a range of levels designed to match their existing proficiency and learning goals.
The English programme, in particular, offers three levels: pre-intermediate, intermediate B2, and intermediate B2+. To ensure learners are placed in the most appropriate level, all prospective students must complete an online placement test before finalising their registration. This process guarantees that participants receive instruction suited to their skills, enabling a more productive and rewarding learning experience.
