A Celebration Of National Talent At Rock In Paraguay 2025 Festival

The Rock in Paraguay festival is set to return this 2025 with an edition that promises energy, diversity, and cultural significance. Scheduled for Saturday, 6 December, from 14:00, the event will unfold at the Puerto Cultural Centre in Asunción. This historic space, renowned for its strong connection to music and the arts, provides the perfect backdrop for such a gathering. The festival continues a tradition of uniting generations of rock enthusiasts while providing a platform for the nation’s emerging voices.

An unmissable line-up

Among the highlights are confirmed performances by acclaimed Paraguayan groups such as Salamandra, Ripe Banana Skins, Gaia, LaNuestra, El Culto Casero, Deficiente, Nightbound, and Arritmia. Their presence ensures a day filled with powerful live music, celebrating both established names and fan favourites.

Adding a fresh dimension, three new bands from Asunción, Ciudad del Este, and Encarnación will also take the stage. These groups earned their place by winning the National PRE ROCKENPY FEST, an initiative that gathered artists of multiple rock styles. From punk and heavy metal to reggae, indie, alternative, and blues, the competition demonstrated the creative reach of Paraguayan rock.
