The AmCham Job Fair makes a highly anticipated return on Saturday 11 October 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00 at the Event Centre at Paseo la Galería in Asunción. Organised by the Fundación AmCham, the Paraguayan-American Chamber of Commerce, and the US Embassy in Paraguay, with support from ManpowerGroup, AmCham Job Fair 2025 in Paraguay’s capital aims to connect top professionals with leading national and multinational companies.
Now in its second year, the fair targets people with high-value education from the US, Taiwan, and the UK, including participants and alumni of US Embassy educational programmes, professionals with US work experience, advanced students or graduates of the CCPA, and recipients of scholarships from Taiwan’s Becal and the UK’s Chevening programme.
Buidling on 2024: 45 companies, 1000+ registrants
“We are very happy to continue this initiative,” says Estefanía Elicetche, president of the AmCham Foundation. “In 2024, we had a very successful first edition, with 45 companies participating and more than 1,000 registrants who took advantage of the opportunities the fair offered. This year we are going even further: we want to reach an even larger audience, and positively impact the lives of more people.”
Last year’s 45 organisations offered over 300 vacancies, with notable participation from executives like Lizzie Kennedy of Nestlé and Roberto Laratro of Tigo. Silvia García of Nestlé Business Services praised the fair for connecting the company with exceptional candidates, strengthening its employer brand.
“The AmCham Job Fair reflects the results of years of collaborative work between Paraguay and the U.S. in the educational and professional fields,” adds Leanne Cannon, Director of Communication, Culture, and Education at the U.S. Embassy in Paraguay. “It is the next step in a continuous cycle of comprehensive professional training that we promote through programs such as the Access Scholarship Program, Hayes Scholarships, Fulbright, Fulbright-BECAL, among others.”
