The Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat (MUVH), delivered 179 social homes to families from Santa Rosa del Aguaray, Capiibary and Tacuatí, in the department of San Pedro, as part of an ongoing social housing initiative for Paraguayans in poverty.
This delivery will make Christmas more special for these families, who are now beginning a stage of greater security, well-being and opportunities for a better future.
The homes delivered benefit: 99 families from Santa Rosa del Aguaray, 48 families from Capiibary and 32 families from Tacuatí, the MUVH reported.
These social housing solutions were built with a total investment of Gs 19,277,715,565 (approximately USD 2.5 million) from the National Fund for Social Housing (Fonavis).
The works undertaken not only provide a safe roof, but have also boosted local development, job creation and the national economy.
To date, the Government, through the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat, has delivered 5,593 homes of the 23,732 under construction in different parts of the country.
