The National Secretariat of Youth has announced that ‘Palma Joven’ will take place on Saturday, 21st September 2024, from 11am to 11pm, which features up-and-coming Paraguayan bands competing to win, “battle-of-the-bands” style.
32 bands will compete on the social networks of the National Secretariat of Youth, on Saturdays 14, Sunday 15 and Monday 16 September. Four will have the chance to play on the festival’s main stage. Interested parties can register by completing the application form.
In addition to the opportunity to play on the famous Palma street, in front of a large audience, on a first-level stage, the 4 finalist bands will be competing to be awarded funds from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (Fondec) and guidance of the National Directorate of Intellectual Property (Dinapi), for the process of registering works of intellectual property and copyright.
The National Youth Secretariat will upload the videos of the 32 bands to the official YouTube channel for viewing, says the institution – watch out for those, starting tomorrow!
