The Government launched the project to restore the warehouses of the Port of Asunción, in order to provide “a space for all Paraguayans that will integrate history, culture, landscape and modernity.”
The launching ceremony took place on Friday with the presence of the Head of State, Santiago Peña, the First Lady, Leticia Ocampos, as well as other national authorities.

“We want to show that progress means transforming what we have, adapting to our times,” Leticia Ocampos stressed.
She also mentioned that this is a sustainable vision of development, since it aims not only to revitalise a space but also to “give it a new life that preserves our identity, but at the same time connects us with the trends and demands of the modern world,” he said.
He pointed out that through the creation of a gastronomic and cultural center, a large number of jobs will be created, stimulating the local economy and, above all, promoting the integration of all sectors of society.
“We will seek to open a space for local entrepreneurs, foreign and national investors, seeking to be a cultural, gastronomic and all kinds of event beacon, giving rise to a wide range of activities for the whole family,” he said.
For his part, President Peña assured that this project will mark the beginning of a new stage of growth for the Capital, providing a space for all Paraguayans that will integrate history, culture, landscape and modernity.
