Families from Caaguazú, Misiones, Paraguarí, San Pedro, Central and Bajo Chaco are participating in the latest Family Farming Fair, where farm products can be purchased directly from the farming families without intermediaries, on the Asunción waterfront, starting early Thursday, until stocks run out.
This is an initiative promoted by the government through technical departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, in order to promote the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families in the country.
This new edition of the fair benefits 703 families and 13 organisations from the departments of Caaguazú, Misiones, Paraguarí, San Pedro, Central and Bajo Chaco.
Citizens will be able to access quality fresh products such as Paraguay cheese, pork, suckling pig, goat, sheep, home-made chicken, duck and home-made eggs. As well as corn, corn flour, red beans, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, broad beans and peky beans.
In addition to starch, tomatoes, peppers, cassava, sweet potatoes, potatoes, onions, green vegetables in general, seasonal fruits, grains in general, a variety of typical and traditional foods, crafts, flowers and plants, among others.
