The works area of the future Hospital Día Oncógico de Concepción, located in the local Regional Hospital, was verified by the Minister of Public Health, María Teresa Barán, who highlighted the importance of improvements in the care of cancer patients in the region, as well as the decentralization plan. He added that one will be delivered to the Día Hospital and that the team is a mammogram with tomosynthesis to be able to do surgery procedures, a highly complex biopsy; while the other digital mammographer is going to Horqueta, he reported.
The white staff of the Regional Hospital of Concepción stressed the importance for the department of the presence of the highest authorities of the Ministry of Health, since they consider that it is a full support of the portfolio to the region.
