The Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare has re-confirmed to all citizens and residents of Paraguay that emergency services in all regional, district, specialised and basic hospitals in the country will be guaranteed on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1, which are all public holidays in Paraguay.
In a statement, the the Paraguayan Ministry of Public Health said that it “reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of all citizens, and urges the population to take the necessary precautions to avoid accidents and illnesses during the Christmas and New Year holidays.”
In order to ensure medical care for the entire population, the Ministry of Health reiterates that “emergency services in regional, district, specialized and basic hospitals will have the necessary personnel and resources to provide quality and timely care during these holidays, through the on-call system.”
“All emergency care, from the most common to the most complex, will be guaranteed, allowing the population to enjoy the holidays with the peace of mind of knowing that health services are available,” reports the Ministry of Public Health.
