Companies from the Uruguayan productive sector have showed interest in learning more about investing in Paraguay, and the advantages that Paraguay offers as an investment destination, during the presentation of the Vice Minister of Commerce, Rodrigo Maluff, at an event held in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
Maluff gave a presentation entitled “Why invest in Paraguay” at the International Agro-Export and Agro-Industrial Exhibition “Agro en Punta”, which took place in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
More than 100 entrepreneurs from the Uruguayan productive sector participated in the event, showing interest in learning more about the advantages that Paraguay offers for the landing of capital, in addition to the sectors with the greatest potential at a local level, the strategic position in the region, among other aspects that make Paraguay a land of opportunities for all investors.
The Vice Minister also spoke about Paraguay’s investment grade and its projections, and about the figures that make the country a beacon of macroeconomic stability in the region.
As well as its regional leadership in the business climate ranking for the fourth consecutive year in Latin America, its position as a regional integration center, the simple and competitive tax system, the sustainable production of renewable energy and the competitive cost of energy, among other indicators.
It is worth mentioning that Paraguay had its own stand at the ExpoFeria where supplies and technological tools for agricultural production were displayed, as well as precise information on the country’s advantages for investments.
This international exhibition included spaces for business roundtables and forums with prominent speakers, experts, researchers and professionals from the global production sector to discuss innovation, challenges, sustainable production, the impact of AI and global trends.
The “Agro en Punta Expo & Business” is an innovative integration fair presented as a business hub related to the agro-export, agribusiness and innovation sectors of Uruguay and the region.
