Paraguayan Alcohol Producer Receives “Country Brand” License

The Vice Ministry of Rediex granted this Friday to the company Inpasa Paraguay SA the “Country Brand” license, as one of the largest alcohol producers within the national territory.

The presentation ceremony of the national seal was chaired by the Vice Minister of the Investment and Export Network (Rediex) of the MIC, Rodrigo Maluff, within the framework of the Rediex Invest Forum, at the Paraguay-Brazil Expo.

The company Inpasa Paraguay SA, located in the department of Canindeyú, currently has a production of 12 million liters of ethanol per month; with an installed capacity in the distillery that exceeds 450,000 liters of ethanol per day and a production of crystal sugar of 750 tons per day, equivalent to 15,000 bags of 50 kg.

The company is also consolidating its position as one of the largest producers of ethanol in Latin America, based on cereals such as corn and sorghum, in addition to exporting its products to more than 36 countries.

The company’s director, Enzo Olmedo, commented that the acquisition of the “Country Brand” license will help them strengthen their identity as a Paraguayan company and add value to their products.

In this regard, he said that it is an honor and a pride to be a licensee. Not only to carry the flag, but to carry the Country Brand is a huge pride, he confirmed.

He also thanked the Vice Ministry of Rediex for the opportunity for the company to bear the national seal.
