Ñu Guasú Park in Asunción will come alive on Sunday 19 October 2025 as the charity run “We Run Together, We Win Together” launches a thrilling bid to break the Guinness World Record for the largest serving of scrambled eggs. Starting at 07:00 in the morning, the lively event, led by Nutrihuevos in partnership with Asunción Runners and the United Against Cancer Foundation (Unidos Contra el Cáncer Foundation), will mark World Egg Day with a bold ambition to cement Paraguay’s place in history.
The nutritional benefits of eggs
Far more than a record-breaking spectacle, the initiative seeks to spotlight the remarkable nutritional benefits of eggs. With high-quality protein, vital vitamins, and essential minerals, eggs are a powerhouse for a healthy diet, and the organisers are passionate about sharing this message with the nation.
“We want Paraguay to come together for this extraordinary moment. With Nutrihuevos, we are celebrating sport, championing health, and aiming to make history with a world record,” declared Gustavo Koo, director of Nutrihuevos, in an interview with Radio Nacional del Paraguay.
Asunción Runners
The “We Run Together, We Win Together” is organised by Asunción Runners, a sports club in Asunción. The community began as a casual team of 12 people training for the Buenos Aires Marathon, and grew into Paraguay’s leading race organisation, reaching over 20,000 followers on the Asunción Runners Club Instagram. But, as its founder said in an interview with The Asunción Times, at its core, this has always been about more than running: it is about community, transformation, and purpose.

Free and open to everyone, the event promises a morning full of community spirit and joy.
