Paraguay is set to host the Museum Expo 2025 (Expo Museos 2025), a national event that will bring together museums from across the country. This event will be a first for the country. The exhibition will take place from 6 to 8 November 2025 at the Comunera University (UCOM) in Asunción. The aim is to showcase the country’s cultural diversity, history, and creativity through its most treasured institutions.

The Expo Museos 2025 will feature a wide range of institutions, from historical and ethnographic museums to those focused on art, science, and religion. Among the confirmed participants are:

Organised by the Paraguayan Association of Museologists and Museum Workers (AMUS), the event aims to strengthen collaboration, visibility, and public appreciation for Paraguay’s museums. Participation is free of charge, and registration remains open until 20 October 2025.

The exhibition will run daily from 08:00 to 16:45, with each participating museum presenting its unique identity, history, and collections.
