The National Electricity Administration (ANDE) has put into operation a new medium voltage line, which starts at the Puerto Botánico substation and extends to the central area of the Loma Pyta neighborhood, in Asunción.
With this infrastructure, which operates at 23,000 Volts, the safety and reliability of the electrical supply is improved for approximately 3,000 customers, according to ANDE.
The beneficiaries are the residents of the Loma Pyta, Mbocayaty and San Blas neighborhoods in Asunción, as well as the commercial area of the municipality of Mariano Roque Alonso.
The project consisted of the construction of 600 meters of underground medium voltage line and 5,700 meters of protected overhead line, with a total investment of Gs. 2,300,741,316, allocated to labor and materials, according to the ANDE report.
The project was executed through National Public Tender No. 1534/19 and supervised by the Department of Supervision of Distribution Works of the state company.
