The Paraguayan National Animal Health and Quality Service (Senacsa) has reported the first ever shipment of frozen kosher Paraguayan beef to the United States. Frigomerc S.A. sent a total of 24,000 kg.
“The opportunities in international markets are the result of the trust placed by these markets in the joint work carried out between the public and private sectors of our country,” Senacsa stated on its social media accounts.
In December 2023, Paraguay made its first shipment of meat containers to the United States in 25 years.
Regarding kosher foods, these are suitable for consumption according to Jewish law. Paraguay has been exporting frozen kosher meat to the Israeli market since 2019, with Israel being one of the leading destinations for Paraguayan beef.
