The city of Pirayú will be the stage for the first National Festival “Che Valle Pirayumi”, an activity that seeks to highlight and promote local talent in the areas of music and dance. The event will take place tomorrow Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at the Parochial Cultural Center, and promises to bring together children, youth and adults in a high-level artistic competition.
The festival, which has been declared of cultural interest by the National Secretariat of Culture (SNC) and the Municipality of Pirayú, will feature the participation of renowned juries with distinguished careers in the art world. In addition to celebrating national talent, the contest will serve as a qualifier for the prestigious Takuare’ẽ Festival, which takes place in the city of Guarambaré.
The competition covers several categories in both music and dance, and is promoted by Professor Ana López, recognized locally and internationally for her outstanding career in training artists.
On Friday, October 25th, starting at 7:00 p.m., the National Music Competition will be held, while on Saturday, October 26th, starting at 3:00 p.m., it will be the turn of the National Dance Competition. Tickets will be available for G. 15,000.
