As Mother’s Day approaches, the Association of Paraguayan Entrepreneurs (ASEPY) is spotlighting its members’ products as gift options, aiming to boost visibility for local businesses.
Martha Arriola, ASEPY’s executive director, noted that the initiative seeks to connect consumers with unique, locally made goods from entrepreneurs representing 80% of Paraguay’s workforce.

ASEPY’s mission
Founded in 2017, ASEPY aims to make Paraguay “the best place to undertake,” ensuring equal opportunities for all to start businesses or projects, regardless of their background. Over the years, ASEPY has trained over 9,000 entrepreneurs through webinars, workshops, and programmes.
ASEPY’s mission is to foster and defend entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth, social mobility, and personal and collective development. Its vision is to create an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem where everyone has the chance to succeed. To reach that goal, next to training thousands of entrepreneurs, ASEPY organises fairs, after-office events, and assemblies.
Supporting Paraguayan entrepreneurs
ASEPY’s executive director Arriola, stressed the importance of supporting Paraguayan entrepreneurs during key holidays to drive economic activity. “We’re focused on providing access to innovative, quality gifts while promoting the businesses that sustain our economy,” she said.
