The document was signed by Vice Minister Gustavo Giménez and the Minister and Executive Secretary of the Secretariat for Repatriated Persons, Edgar Ruiz, in order to promote and encourage the creation, development and competitiveness of MSMEs, as well as entrepreneurs.

Vice Minister Giménez stressed the importance of working together to create opportunities that facilitate the return of compatriots who have been abroad, emphasising the need to generate conditions that allow entrepreneurship and development in Paraguay, as well as the commitment of institutions to support those who return and want to contribute to the growth of their families and the country.

He also thanked the team from the Secretariat for Repatriations for their efforts and expressed optimism regarding the medium-term results, by working together to offer tools and knowledge that benefit returnees and national development.

For his part, the Minister Executive Secretary of the Secretariat for Repatriated Persons, Edgar Ruiz, thanked the Vice Ministry of MSMEs for its collaboration and commitment in helping MSMEs and repatriated persons, emphasising the importance of the knowledge and experience they bring with them.

The Secretariat for Repatriated Persons is committed to incorporating application formats and promoting specific financing opportunities for repatriated entrepreneurs, in accordance with good practices to be defined by the National Directorate of Entrepreneurship (Dinaem).

It is also established that both institutions will coordinate the attention to repatriated entrepreneurs, prioritising the training and technical assistance spaces available through the IncuCAE or other support spaces for entrepreneurs and microenterprises in the territory.

Likewise, the MIC and the Secretariat will work together to provide specialised assistance to those compatriots who are abroad, wishing to return and intending to invest their resources in the country.
