The Davis Cup is a men-only competition, founded in 1900 between the United States and Great Britain. The annual tournament cup is the highest nations’ tennis competition, this year in its 113th edition. The women’s equivalent is the Billie Jean Cup (formerly Fed Cup), which was created in 1963. In these competitions, instead of competing on individual banners, players represent their nations.

The winning team will receive US$2.67 million, sub-champion US$1.6 million. The sub finalist receives US$1,07 million, the fourth finalist US$535,714.
