Additional works and investment around the bridge by bidders
The initiative includes not only the construction of the access to the Bioceánica Bridge, but also complementary works in the urban area of Carmelo Peralta, including improvements to the main avenue, Costanera Avenue, and boarding ports.
This effort is the result of an agreement signed between Itaipu Binacional, the Municipality of Carmelo Peralta, and the MOPC (Ministry of Public Works and Transport), aimed at improving road infrastructure and strengthening regional integration.
The MOPC reported that the items to be executed will include asphalt paving of 3.8 km of access road, from the Bioceánica bridge to Route PY15, earthworks, the construction of reinforced concrete cellular culverts, and improvements to signage and lighting, among other aspects, all supported by technical studies.
