The Heralds of the Gospel (Heraldos del Evangelio) present one of 2025’s most striking festive proposals: an interactive nativity scene. The exhibition is complete with light, sound, and movement that narrates the Birth of Jesus. This innovative display guides visitors through each moment of the story of the Infant Jesus, blending traditional devotion with modern technology. The display is hosted at the Virgen de Fátima Foundation, located on Mariscal López Avenue 1941, near Brasilia, in Asunción.
The installation, composed of more than one thousand pieces, is the result of months of meticulous work carried out by members of the Heralds’ community. Their combined technical and artistic skills have shaped a detailed and immersive experience designed to captivate families this Christmas season.
Technology and spiritual message
According to Brother Preetham D’Silva, the effort behind the project has been considerable. “It took several months of work and many late nights to have this nativity scene ready for the season. Our main intention is to prepare the hearts of all who visit for that magnificent event which is the birth of the Child God,” he explains.
The nativity scene includes a wide range of materials: wood, resin, Styrofoam, and plaster. Alongside, digital elements such as 3D-printed pieces, LED lighting, and simple robotic prototypes. The combination results in a vivid environment that gives visitors a sense of stepping into the historical setting of Jesus’s time.
Marcelo Fernández, one of the attendees, shares his impression: “People who come here feel as if they were living in the time of Jesus. With the clothing, the buildings, and the customs all from that period.”
